This workshop will include information on basic anatomy, breath work, posture/alignment, stretching, mobility, functional
movement, mind/body awareness, injury rehabilitation, injury prevention and some very interesting analogies. Michelle comes up with some crazy creative stuff to give a clear understanding of the previously listed topics and to clarify some common misconceptions about self massage. She uses her bodywork background to help you create a self-care routine that mimics the therapeutic massage techniques she utilizes in her practice.
All equipment will be provided. Bring a mat, and a pillow or blanket to sit comfortably on. I have a few additional mats if needed. Chairs are available for those who have difficulty sitting on the floor (please let me know ahead of time if you need a chair).

Series classes forming for guided self massage sequences to targeted regions of the body (i.e. back) to reduce pain and improve flexibility and functional movement. Focusing on specific areas enables a deeper release for optimal results.
